America got its first glimpse of the 2019 RAM 1500 at the Detroit Auto Show. Not long after, the 2019 RAM 1500 Laramie Longhorn was unveiled at the Houston Auto Show. Now, FCA US LLC is outdoing itself with the announcement of the 2019 RAM 1500 Tradesman. As you can probably confer from its name, this trim is designed for blue-collar workers.

The RAM 1500 Tradesman is not a new trim and was originally introduced back in 2011. The exterior is distinguished by its black steel bumpers and solid black grille. This model has been confirmed by representatives at the 2018 Indianapolis Work Truck Show hosted by the National Truck Equipment Association.

The trim is available in both Crew and Quad cabs with an optional longer cargo bed that’s 6-foot 4-inches long. Under the hood is a 3.6-liter Pentastar® V6 engine. Buyers will have the option to upgrade to a 5.7-liter HEMI® V8 machine, which can be enhanced with the optional eTorque system. It also has a 2,300-pound payload and tows up to 12,750 pounds.

The RAM 1500 Tradesman is ideal for purchasing in bulk as a part of a commercial fleet for hardhat industries, such as the construction, steel, masonry, and carpentry sectors.
