At the 2017 Chicago Auto Show, FCA US LLC revealed that the 2018 Dodge Durango would be getting a new HEMI® V8 engine. Also there, Dodge representatives outdid themselves with the reveal of new Mopar® performance parts.

The additions include a new performance exhaust system with four-inch tips and a stainless-steel surface. The add-on is available for both the Dodge Durango R/T and Dodge Durango SRT.

That’s not all, though. Mopar has also unveiled a new performance suspension spring kit exclusive to the Dodge Durango SRT. The kit will lower the vehicle by about half an inch and will help decrease squat during brake drive and acceleration.

Mopar also introduced a new exterior paint enhancement. If you want to grace your set of wheels with racing colors, then you may be pleased to know that FCA US LLC has added dual center stripes, which will be available in five colors. According to a Dodge spokesman, the stripes add a “sinister factory-custom” appearance.

The aesthetic makeover extends to the cabin with the new SRT Interior Appearance Group for the Dodge Durango SRT. Buyers will be able to opt for quality stitching, including carbon fiber trims, soft-touch headliners, and a premium-wrapped dashboard.

All in all, there are a total of four new Mopar additions, though you will have to opt for the Dodge Durango SRT to take advantage of all four.
